Shining Through

This shot was achieved by doing something I rarely do but something I should probably do more often.  I switched from my wide-angle lens to my 85mm in the middle of sunrise.  I know I should be focusing on the big picture and little details but I always seemed to get lost in the big picture.  I rarely switch to a mid to long range lens when shooting landscapes.  I may have to try and make this a habit.

  6. Very cool today man. I think the longer lenses let you change up your composition in ways you can’t do without cropping. Besides, sometimes it’s fun 🙂
