On The Catwalk

Had me one of those mornings this past weekend where pretty much nothing went as planned.  I woke up early to squeeze in a sunrise shoot before all the football festivities began.  Had every intention to visit my favorite spot along the western shore of the lake, but that was not to be.  Apparently the lake is about 17 inches higher than normal and all the access roads to Stockdale Park were flooded.  So, after finding this out about 20 minutes before sunrise I scrambled to find another location.  I knew that a couple of new parking lots on either side of the dam had been built recently with a path connecting them on the north side.  With no other options coming to mind, I headed that way.  Worked out okay for what it was.  This shot is of a building that is connecting to the dam road but extends into the lake.  Not sure what all is done inside the building but it is definitely off limits.
