Streak, Bolts and Stars

Once again, had some lightning in the area on Friday night.  Spent only a couple of hours out trying this time.  Walked away with some decent shots, but I had to shoot a little wider than the 85mm this time due to the sporadic placement of the strikes.

Had some more storms to the south last night and they were lined up perfectly with the Milky Way, but none of them would produce for me.  Lots and lots of flashes but no bolts or structure illumination.  Kind of disappointing.  Hope everyone had a great weekend.  Leaving for Summit Co, Colorado tomorrow for five days, so I hope I’m able to get out and get some good scenery and night scenes.
