Country Road
Today’s post is another shot of that great sunset I was able to capture a couple of Saturdays ago. Like I said before, I’m pretty disappointed we weren’t able to track down something to capture in the foreground, but I think the road helps a little. I have two different captures up today, one that is slightly more zoomed in than the other and from a slightly different vantage point. I’m thinking I prefer the tighter zoom in this case, but I’d be interested to hear which one you all like the best.

I like the desolation feel, and this really does put a big emphasis on the sky. Love it!

Sick sunset you captured. I feel so lazy these days as I haven’t gone out to explore the sunset. Thanks a lot – last time I come here.

Scott – I think the road really worked well in the foreground on these images. I also prefer the zoomed in version as it brings you into the sunset more.

I like the sky in the first photo, and the perspective in the second. Both are great shots though!

Yeah, sky in the first is better, but I like the road more in the second one.
What a sunset though. Sometimes you just gotta make do with what you have, and a road might be it!

The sky is sick! I like the second shot since the road hits the ‘rule of thirds’ – just slighly more balanced I think…
