Calm Sunrise

Often times I like to look back at some of early HDR pictures I attempted to see how I have progressed in my skills. Not only do I like to see what I did, but also see if I would process the image differently today. This image for example is one that is a re-edit of an old favorite. I was never a big fan of the way the first process came out, but I am much happier with this version.

It’s also nice to see how everyone has a different processing ‘flavor’ they like to use. That is one reason why I enjoy observing the collaborations being done with the same set of brackets by many different photographers. It makes for some very unique images of the same scene.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!

  1. Awesome shot man! I love the color contrast of cool vs. warm in this shot! Reprocessing is so much fun!
